Buses / Trains in Colchester : You primarily need a bus that goes along London Road, alighting at 'Barns Field' (eastbound) / Lucy Lane South (westbound). The bus journey (local service) from Colchester railway station is a 40-minute run on an S2 bus (every 20 minutes) to Lucy Lane South or Chapel Road.
Trains / Buses from Marks Tey Station and Chelmsford : A faster train/bus route may be to alight at Marks Tey Station and catch a 71 or 371 (every half-hour combined, as I write this xx.25 and xx.53) to 'Barns Field', an 11-minute journey. Note : The 71/371 is a long-distance service : Chelmsford - Witham - Marks Tey - Stanway 'Barns Field' - Colchester.
Please always check bus details before travelling. We rarely re-check this information.
